When it comes to skin care, most of us fall into one of two camps. There are those of use that never change our routine, using the same harsh face wash and lightweight moisturizer from our high school days. Then there’s the other group, who embrace anti- aging treatments before there’s even a wrinkle in sight- ahem me
Today I wanted to introduce you to some amazing products that I’ve been lovin’. It’s getting cold out there so I wanna share my winter skincare survival guide. Let’s get started shall we!
Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter-
I have gone through about 2 tubs of this product and I absolutely love it. It is so easy to use and I love how it doesn’t dry my skin out and takes off all my makeup. I use this dry on my skin and work it in and then remove it with a warm muslin cloth. It has been the most effective makeup remover I have used. You can get such amazing deals on products when The Body Shop has sales. I would highly recommend you pick up this and try it!
Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel-
Witch hazel is amazing natural alternative to your store bought toner! This is the only toner that I’ll ever use! It smells so refreshing; I use it every morning and night after washing my face and before moisturizing to clean off any excess makeup and soap that regular cleansing couldn’t. This is a must try!
Clarins Extra Firming Eye Lift Perfecting Serum –
It works perfect under concealer since it is very hydrating. It prevents under-eye concealer from creasing. My eyes are very sensitive and this is one of the few products I am able to use that doesn’t irritate my eyes. It absorbs easily so it is great for daytime. The pump dispenser configuration also guarantees hygienic delivery of the cream, which I love!
Clarins Multi- Active Day Cream (Early Wrinkles Correction Cream)
Okay, I have sensitive skin so some fragrances tend to irritate my skin. But this moisture scent is so lovely. It’s lightly floral fragrance and I really enjoy it, it’s so relaxing. But what really stands out most to me is the way this product actually feels- luxurious, like I’m treating myself to something indulgent.
Nourishing Coconut Milk Hibiscus Creamy Body Lotion-
I was a little worried this would have that fake cheap and overwhelming coconut scent a lot of products use but this stuff smells wonderful. More subtle and complex than other coconut scented products you can purchase in a drug store. The scent is softer so I believe it will work better when I wear perfume because it won’t vie for attention with it. It also works wonderfully. I smooth this on and my skin soaks it up and feels instantly smooth and moisturized but not greasy at all. I love this stuff I use it all year around!
Needless to say Skincare is important and no matter how old you are, you should have a skincare routine of some sort. So what sort of skin care routines do you have? Any to share?
