Beachy-Waves-2

I literally have three types of hairstyles straight, wavy and homeless. I have never been good at styling my own hair, I get bored, my arms get tired and I end up giving up. My hair is pretty fine but I have a lot of it. If I shower and let my hair dry it’s have a slight wavy but for the most part it’s pretty straight. But lately I have been styling my hair wavy and it’s so easy and perfect for summer. All you do is spritz sea salt stray into your hair with some water to dampen it. Then grab all your hair at the back, divide it into two sections, twist the two sections around each other and when you reach the end, just roll the twisted hair into a bun and secure it with a band.

Make sure it’s tight even if it’s not perfect. Let the bun be for a minimum of two hours. Open the bun and separate your curls gently, scrunch it with some mousse if you so desire and you’re ready to hit the beach!

DIY Sea-Salt Spray Ingredients

– 1 cup warm water

– 1 Tbsp. sea salt

– 1 tsp Epsom salt

– 1 Tbsp. organic coconut oil

– 5 drops essential oil, optional

You’re going to need to start out with very warm water, preferably heated on the stove to nearly (but not quite) boiling. Next, add the sea salt and Epsom salt and stir until they are dissolved. When the salt is dissolved, add one tablespoon of organic coconut oil. You’ll have to stir it until it is melted completely. If you want to add essential oil for scent (I love adding peppermint oil) add five drops at the end. Mix well, and then pour into a spray bottle. Let me know some of your go to looks down below!

Summer Trend: The Romper!

For today’s blog, I wanted to shed some light on one of this season’s hottest trends:

The Romper!

This wardrobe staple is easily one of the most effortless items you can wear this summer, which is why I have picked up styles in both classic summer colours and fun feminine cut outs.

You can bet that this summer I will be sporting these all over town, styling them with sandals for brunch on the patio, or with heels or wedges for an evening out. For those chillier summer nights, I love to pair them with a jacket or sweater for a practical yet polished look.

Take a look at 5 of my top styles! Happy shopping!

DIY Lip Scrub-

4allthingsbeauty

Pucker up, after all it is mistletoe season. Don’t you want to learn how to get smooth and sweet lips in no time? Today we will be doing a simple but effective DIY lip scrub. I used to purchase my scrub, and then realized it’s actually the easiest thing in the world to make. Lets get started!

What you will need…

  • A tablespoon of brown sugar or white sugar
  • A dash of honey or coconut oil
  • A teeny tiny drop of vanilla (it makes it smell yummy, but isn’t necessary)
  • A small container

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and tada! You’ve made your own lip scrub! This scrub isn’t meant to be use on a daily basis, use it bi-weekly and store in your refrigerator in between uses.

“ Changing The World One Pot at a Time”

lishhhhhhhhh

Who doesn’t like to help a good cause while getting something we use everyday? Look no further then Lush’s Charity Pot hand and body lotion. Whenever a Charity Pot is purchased all the profits (aside from taxes) go to directly to grassroots organizations locally and internationally, in my case my money was donated to Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest.

I absolutely love this company is such a breath of fresh air. Lush Handmade Natural Cosmetics is the polar opposite to the mass-produced beauty businesses that influence how we buy cosmetics today. They protect our environment by making their products green all products are suitable for anyone who is vegan and/or vegetarian because there is no traces any animal byproduct. In addition to not using any animal fats in their products they do not partake in animal testing, which really means the world to me. It’s truly amazing to see a company have such an great impact in our world we are really ” Changing The World One Pot at a Time”

Cheers,

Victoria
